Executive Coaching for Women

My Executive Coaching Process

There’s no magic formula or universal problem-and-solution. That’s how people sell self-help books and self-proclaimed gurus sell results they can’t deliver. 

You already know you need help or support if you’re going to achieve some different outcomes in your career. So you can check off the first step in this more authentic, personal process! From here, I propose:

Let’s meet for a quick, free, zero-pressure consultation. I want to hear from you and I want you to meet me — and hit me with all the questions you might have, at this point! We’ll work together from the start to surface your real goals.

We’ll define success on your terms with some concrete milestones and the metrics for achievement that make the most sense for you.

I’ll lead you through a (painless!) assessment of your current skills, strengths, and areas to invest for improvement. If you’re like me and live with a pretty tough inner critic — don’t worry! This part of the process is actually fun and we’ll both bring a lot of curiosity and compassion to the table as we realistically evaluate where you are today.

We’ll dig into practical, evidence-and-research-based strategies I’ve already vetted and helped others achieve. There are always ways to personalize and adapt the general skills and approaches, so we’ll make sure this fits who you are and want to become, not the other way around.

And then we’ll keep returning to the metrics and milestones we established. As you hit them, we’ll make a little space to celebrate that and all the ways you’re seeing new progress and success.

That’s the essential shape of the framework I use with all my executive coaching clients. I do the work to compress these components into even the smallest, short-term coaching package I offer. 

Everyone isn’t ready to launch into deeper work or a longer-term commitment, and that’s okay! And sometimes, you just need some very specific support or training for a particular goal or challenge.
